Valentines Day with CH2M Hill

CH2M Hill is a wonderful company that continues to hire me for special occasions and Valentines Day is no exception. Cheryl placed an order for 150 red velvet cupcakes with cheesecake frosting. I then used candy melts and forms and created the hearts that are placed on each cupcake. Their party was a success and Cheryl was very pleased. Thanks again!

Congrats to Tracy and Kerry!!!

This happy couple was married in November and had a very lovely fall reception. As you can see the cake mirrors the theme with chinesse laterns, fall berries, leaves and twigs. The cake was filled with homemade vanilla pudding and drapped in marshmellow fandant.

It's a Boy!!!

I think this is the best way to announce your baby at any baby shower. How cute is this little guy!!!! My lovely and talented friend Corrine is a superstar and together we put this cake together. It is not an original idea, we did see it on another website, but we recreated it in are own style.

Cowboy Up Partner!

This darling vintage cowboy cake was for a first birthday. I absolutley loved making this cake.  It is a drum with a red top and decorated in classic vintage yellow blue and brown. The boots, stars and rope are all made from marshmellow fondant.

Terri's Birthday Cake

I met Terri during Diva Night at Boulder Running Company and she asked me to make her 40th birthday cake. The decorations turned out great but unfortunatly the pound cake was dry when the party went to cut the cake. I am totally embarrased by it but I am so grateful that Terri's mother brought it to my attention.  I want to serve a quality product! So I have tweaked the recipe and the pound cake is moist a delicious. I love feed back from all my clients so I can improve my business. Thanks Terri for hiring me and we'll make that next cake not only awesome but on the house!

DIVA NIGHT at BOULDER RUNNING COMPANY

Vanilla cupcake w/Cream Cheese frosting and topped in Strawberry

Vanilla cupcake w/Lime Zest frosting topped with a edible flower

The cake was made from vanilla poundcake, frosted with buttercream and drapped in buttercream hot pink fondant. The lipstick, flowers and blush brush were made from fondant as well.
I was invited to share cupcakes at the Diva Night, Boulder Running Company hosts semi annually. I baked three hundred cupcakes and handed them out like twenty dollar bills, they went fast. I also raffled off a Purse Cake at the end of the night. It was great to rub shoulders with some serious athletes from the community. I had a great time meeting everyone that works at BRC and hope to be invited again.

Diva Purse Cakes

This kind of cake is for all my Littleton Diva's out there! Now you can order a cake that really represents you. Yes there is cake inside, a very deliscious pound cake covered in buttercream frosting and drapped in buttercream fondant. This is a treat that should be demanded by all the women with style and class! The lipstick and penny are made out of fondant and perfectly edible.  Purse styles and colors can be made to fit any individual.

James and Dani's Wedding

Dani is a super cute and trendy girl! She had the best idea to have three classy cakes decorated differently but all infused the same colors and concepts. All three cakes were white and filled with raspberry cheescake. They were covered in marshmellow fondant and edible silver perellis.
Dara,
I was so enthralled with my cake. I couldn't take my eyes off it! James is not a cake fan, but when we cut it and fed it to each other he commented on how delicious it was! You did a wonderful job with the flowers on and decoration. I will recommend you to everyone. We received countless apraise on the cake all right. I appreciate the time you took to build such a masterpiece.
Thank You,
Dani and James

Brielle is 5!!!

Corrine's cute little girl turned 5 and we tag teamed her cake. Corrine baked and frosted the cake and made the crown in advance.  I then did the fondant work. We rolled the bow on a imprinted mat and brushed the edges with metallic paint. The cake was then brushed with shimmer dust. This was a cake for a princess, which did arrive, it was Sleeping Beauty!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my little Claire!

My daughter Claire turned 3 and we made her a Pixie Hallow Cake. My friend Corrine made the tree on top out of modeling chocolate and rice crispies. The cake is covered in marshmellow fondant from top to bottom. The leaves, bow, and flowers are all made from marshmellow fondant. The cake was brushed in edible glitter as seen in the very sparkly pics. This was a blast to make and was just as fun to eat. Very yummy!
